Amazed by the behaviour of people here.....

As told in the previous blog that Canada is a multi-cultural nation..... its really surprising to find people so helpful and kind...

Being new in the city, we didn't have much idea how to get back to our college UBC while returning after having dinner at an Indian Restaurant....

We got down of the bus and started looking for someone who could tell us how to get back to UBC.... the driver noticed our behaviour.. stopped the bus and got down... (please note that the bus system here is pretty similar to the Metros at New Delhi.. their schedule is very rigid and fixed..)

still the driver got down and asked where we wanted to go... and on knowing the fact... he opened his mobile phone... being aware of the fact that we don't have one either... searched for the buses to UBC and also their timings... and also gave his phone no. so that we may call him in urgency...

i was completely taken back by his kind act...

and not only that.... almost all the people here can be found to be very helpful.... :)

Hello all.... This is my first post about this beautiful place.. Its really great to have sunset at 2130 hrs... :)
We have been provided stay @ Marine Drive Residence... from where we get an amazing view of snow cladded Pacific Range....
Pacific Ocean is just few foot-steps away from our residence....

The campus is very beautiful... and one can easily spot Indians, Chinese, French but not Canadians.... :P

This is the peculiarity of Canada... you can find people from different cultures and nations more easily than the native Canadians... :)

I would be willing to write few such blogs about UBC alone.. because its beauty can not be described in a single post.
